I am a travel and hospitality consultant with more than 20 years of experience working across the global travel industry and over two decades living and working in Asia.
My background spans the full lifecycle of travel product development — from destination and supplier sourcing to itinerary design, commercial negotiations, and long-term product management. I have founded and built destination management operations across Asia and successfully exited the business in 2025, giving me first-hand experience of both operational execution and strategic decision-making.
Today, I serve as Chief Operating Officer of Amazing Borneo Tours & Events, where I am responsible for overseeing operations, product strategy, and organisational development. Alongside this role, I continue to take on select external consulting and advisory projects, working with travel agencies, hotels, and institutions that require independent, on-the-ground expertise in Asia.
In addition to my work in travel and hospitality, I bring cross-industry experience from sectors such as oil & gas and freight forwarding. This broader commercial exposure, combined with an MBA, allows me to approach consulting assignments with a structured, pragmatic, and commercially grounded mindset.
My consulting work focuses on helping organisations strengthen travel products, improve destination performance, support market entry, and make informed decisions based on local market reality rather than assumptions. I am also regularly engaged as a speaker and trainer, contributing practical industry insight on destination management, the role of DMCs, digital distribution, and the evolving travel ecosystem.
